We are to bring Jamie Rodigan to Liverpool for a fantastic night of Music to the Zanzibar

Jamie Rodigan

Originally hailing from West London, Jamie Rodigan has grown up with music in his blood. Being the son of the legendary radio broadcaster Sir David ‘Ram Jam’ Rodigan music has played a pivotal role throughout his life. He developed a love for reggae music through his trips to Jamaica in his youth with his father. He was captured by the sweet sound of reggae music. His eclectic DJ sets today reflect these musical experiences growing up. It’s not just Reggae that has formed Jamie’s musical foundation. He was exposed to a wide range of music from Rare Groove and House to Jungle and Garage.

Jamie has been bursting through the Dancehall scene with notable performances at Glastonbury, Parklife, Lovebox, Love Saves The Day, Exit Festival, Outlook Festival, Rototom Reggae Sunsplash and Toddla T’s Carnival Stage for BBC 1Xtra. Jamie has established himself as one of the top Dancehall selectors from the UK.

Keith Marley

‘Keith Marley has been DJing for over 30 years and still spins vinyl only sets. Best known for his upbeat dancehall sets, Keith also spins Jungle, House, Hip Hop and Funk.

He has had regular residencies on the Liverpool scene for many years and his current monthly NoPopNoStyle residency at Kazimier Garden guarantees party vibes each and very time.

Expect bass heavy raggamuffin business for this one.’

In Fine Style Selectors have been bringing the best in roots, dub, and dancehall to the Kaz Gardens for over 2 years, making a name for themselves with their monthly dances. Feel the bass, groove to the rhythm, and immerse yourself in the timeless sounds of reggae with In Fine Style Selectors.

Amber Rose

DJ Amber Rose is a high energy multi genre DJ. Her sound is heavily influenced by dancehall/bashment/urban sounds though she manages to get any crowd moving and feeling the vibe. She has recently played at Boiler Room and has done a guest mix for BBC Radio 1XTRA

Joey Tempo

DJ Joey tempo hails from Seacombe in Wallasey who specialises in drum and bass and jungle.
DJ Joey Tempo has been a Resident DJ for Hush and Bass for past 3 years and has
been dropping constant bangers on the scene for the past 20 years.
His sets are always filled with Old Skool classics and always keeps the pumping. Expect a vibrant closing jungle set on the night that will keep you on the dancefloor.

Simma

Yorkshire-based DJ Simma is rooted in all things dub + bass, be it running the acclaimed Dub Junction and SUPERCHIP labels, organizing dances with his Three Crowns Soundsystem, or building riddims in the studio.Debut album ‘Simma Enters the Game’ released on vinyl earlier this year, serving up a melting pot of raw digital reggae, dubbed out hip-hop and bass-heavy chiptune, receiving support on BBC 6Music, 1Xtra and Rinse FM. No stranger to the Merseyside reggae scene, you might have seen Simma warming up for Prince Fatty & Horseman at Future Yard or one of his several appearances at Africa Oyé festivalHis DJ sets are guaranteed to be packed full of unreleased bangers and heavy dubplates
